Nordafrika - so nah und doch so anders. Nach West- und Ostafrika haben mich Marokko und Ägypten sehr positiv überrascht! Die beiden Ziele eignen sich perfekt für Backpacker. Vor allem in Ägypten, kann man fernab von den Pauschal-Urlaubsorten viel entdecken. Gut, die Pyramiden zu besichtigen ist überlaufen, überteuert und trotzdem ein Must-Do ;) Aber der Rest vom Land bedeutet pures Abtenteur, beste Falaffel-Sandwiches, tolle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und nette Leute! Und Marokko lässt sich so zusammenfassen: Surfen, Kiten Surfen, gutes Wetter & traumhafte Strände.



Pyramids Egypt: How it really is

To let you know from the beginning: Don't expect to drive to the lonely desert for hours to eventually discover those magical pyramids. No, its completely different. After 2 hours traffic jam from Cairo, you reach the neighborhood Giza where the pyramids slowly arise behind skyscrapers, adverts and a big McDonald sign. Morocco: 3 cities, 3 experiences

Morocco and I became friends in December 2017, even though I visited the country two times before. But at that time, for some reason, I was blind to see the full beauty of Morocco! This time in any case, Morocco´s charm hit me! With limited options to fly on holiday from the airport in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, we found a reasonable ticket to go to Casablanca.
