Addictive: Uganda’s Milky Safe Space

Allergic to Caffeine, but addicted to Milky Warmth. Thats my story. Literally any order started with: "Do you have decaf?" in the past. Now enter: Uganda. Here, I struck the milky jackpot. Or rather: African Tea.

It’s a creamy blend of cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, and clove.

And the best part? Zero caffeine, and yet this fluffy taste. Just pure comfort in a cup. And even better? It’s literally everywhere - for around 1.50 Euro per cup - along roadside stalls, in cafés, grandma’s kitchen probably.

What Sahlab was for me in Jordan, African Tea is in Uganda:

My go-to comfort drink. Best enjoyed with a cinnamon muffin, obviously.
